About Me

Selasi graduated with MEng honours in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds in 2012. While at the university he was listed on the Engineering Dean’s List in his first year, received a BP award for academic achievement in his second year, and received the Chemical Engineering Level 4 Prize for best overall performance in his fourth year. Selasi conducted a three month summer placement in his second year, where he worked at Aerovac Systems Limited devising and carrying out performance tests on their products. Selasi’s current PhD thesis is titled “Predictive Milling of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Excipients” and is sponsored by EPSRC and AstraZeneca.  In the fourth year of his PhD, Selasi received the UKPTF Young Researcher of the Year Award, sponsored by IChemE.
