He is an exchange Master student carrying out a project about the phenomenon of attrition in the cyclone separators. The main aim of his project is to link the global extent of breakage observed in cyclones to the average single particle behaviour; this is achieved thanks to the simulation of the particles dynamics inside a Stairmand cyclone by the CFD-DEM four-way coupling simulation.
