Biography
Erasmo graduated from Chemical Engineering Department of the University of Naples “Federico II”. His thesis was about the re-use of coal ashes from combustion chambers to treat wastewater, using pre-processing to improve ashes performance. He concluded his Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, in 2018 at the same university.
Erasmus completed a seven-month internship during his final Master’s year at Grimaldi SPA (Naples, Italy), where he studied a large-scale seawater scrubber on board a ship in order to optimize its performance in compliance to norm 14, annex VI of MARPOL. Currently, Erasmus is a PhD student at the University of Calabria. His project, in collaboration with Basell SPA, is about multiphase reactors for polyolefins production.
