He worked as a process design engineer from 2007-08 in a process design and engineering consultancy firm. He obtained an MSc degree in Chemical Engineering in 2009 and a PhD degree in 2014 from the University of Leeds. The title of his PhD research project was "Numerical modelling of a counter-current spray drying tower", sponsored by P&G, UK.
